depende q/to vc esta disposto a gastar, esse motores alcançam facil uns 500cv com uma boa preparação

eu moro no sul.. aqui o clima é mais ameno, eu não me encomodo c/ aquecimento do motor não!

This 16v engine its a little dificult to find for buying, people here use to install turbo on traditional 8v engine, you can find it as 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0, but 2.0 version its very hard to find.

people with forged pistons and rods, ceramic clutch, ang a good turbo kit in a 1.8 VW Gol get up to 300hp in this 8v engine with a low coast, comparing with the engine swap you mentioned, with the same engine but with the 16v head, the horsepower can upgrade significantly, but in my oppinion it's not the better choice, because the front wheels traction of Gol is the biggest difficulty for the driver to use all the engine power...

16v difficult to find!? In the UK you can buy whole engines for 200 reais! How much are they worth over here in Brazil when you can find one?

Yeah 300 horsepower through any front wheel drive car is going to cause traction issues. I was planning on doing alot of motorway driving hence the V6 idea.

I'm not such a great fan of turbo engines, more naturally aspirated and supercharged. Had a few turbos, they are great fun, but on the road I prefer NA and charged.

ele não gosta muito de carros turbo, prefere motores grandes aspirados ou supercharger, e ele queria trocar todo o sistema de motor e tração do gol pra não ficar patinando na tração dianteira com motor forte

MAN, 200 reais is VERY CHEAP, in brazil if you find just the 16v head at an illegal (and maybe stolen) auto parts, it will coast about 1000 reais... if you buy from legal shops, more than 3000 reais without all the pieces (like intake manifold, valves, etc..)

this is just an exemple.. to change the engine and the transmission you'll need to find a big garage that accept the challenge and have contacts to find the parts, but will cost lots of money. as an exemple, my uncle have a VW Bug with 2.0l gol engine + 350hp turbo + bigger brakes + better suspension and tires, and all the adaptation costed more than 40k reais

google tradutor é uma boa, coloquei lá e tinha várias falhas do ingles! agora tá certinho! eu aproveito oportunidades assim pra praticar o inglês enferrujado, mas ele ja falou que entende português sem problemas pra conversar!

Really!? I could bring loads of 16v heads over. Or send them over... Its a common engine in the Uk..

Who wants to buy one!? I will be back there next month...
